Fake News
this week we have been learning about fake news. we have learned that not everything is real.
then we had to make a fake photo here is mine. I can now tell fake news and real news and how to tell them apart.
At the beach
Today we went to the beach to try and find little blue penguin tacks. I went in Caleb’s mum’s car we found dog tracks and even found little blue penguin tacks we had a lot of fun.
Wimpy Kid
Last week we got sent the whole collection of the Diary of the Wimpy Kid . We won them because Mrs Hickford drawn and won the collection. One that was even about our class. we were so excited we started strate away reading. what is your favorite book?
Dscouery friday
This week every Friday we did Discovery Friday. This week we did it about earthquakes. first, you need cron flour and some water then you put a little bit of flour in a little cup. Then you pour some water then you mix it with a spoon for a couple of seconds stick your finger into the cup. it will dry really quick. you can do this at home when you are bored

The Grumpest child in the wourd
This Thursday we watched a production of a kid who got very angry. One day he went off on a trip where he met a siteintest The siteintest talked to him about how weird he was. then he went off on the avenger. to meet a city with a very long-haired girl whose hair was down to her feet. Then he went to a cave and found a giant that had the same watch as him he told the giant to come to Grump town to be the queen of it they wined it and got a trove and then he went all the way home. my favorite part was when they wined the trove.
Hokitika Gorge
This Wednesday Piwakawaka went to the Hokitika Gorge. Since the bridge was unsafe we only went to the first lookout. Then we went to Tara’s granddad’s farm to look at the Alpine Fault. It was raining hard. Then we had to draw a sketch of the Alpine fault and we had to find two stones. Then we went back to school. Have you gone to the Hokitika Gorge? 
Kapa haka
On Wednesday the Kapa Haka group went to Reefton to do a performance. I went with my mum and a kid called Albert. When we got there we could smell yummy sausages when we got into the school we saw lots of people. First, we did practice information. The first song was The School Song the second one was ‘Kaniere’ the third was Ko te Whirika the fourth was Taku Poi and the last one was The Boys’ Haka it was fun. When we finished the performance my mum got me a piece of chocolate brownie it was yummy then we went home.
Cybersmart chaling
This week 
we did a cyber-smart challenge about bad comments. We needed to know how to tell the right person if we got a nasty comment.
